Dear Patients,

The Partners of Farnham Road Medical Group took over Wexham Road Surgery when Dr Sithirapathy retired in 2019. Since then we have, we hope you will agree, built on the care and service that Dr Sithirapathy provided for so many years.

We now plan to merge the Wexham Road Surgery patient list with that of Farnham Road Medical Group.

We would like to put your mind at rest about what won’t change. There will be no change to the doctors, or other staff, at the surgery. We will continue to provide all the current services from Wexham Road Surgery within the current opening hours. The way that you contact Wexham Road Surgery won’t change.

We expect the merger to bring some benefits including more services running from Wexham Road Surgery, more frequent access to some services and choice of which surgery to attend.

The planned date for the merger is 7 October 2024. We will provide updates as we get nearer to this date.

Dear Patients,

I am sure that you have read, or heard, about the collective action being taken by GP surgeries. We would like to reassure you that your practice remains open. 

At Wexham Road Surgery we have taken the decision NOT to reduce the number of patients we see or change the way that we provide services to you. 

We are looking at ways to reduce  inappropriate administrative work that is dumped on the practice by other Healthcare partners and providers, including hospitals.  Our intention is to free up GP and other time that we can use for direct patient care.
