Please write or call in person to the surgery for your repeat prescriptions.
You can use the repeat prescription slip attached to your last prescription, or if you don’t have one, forms are available at the reception. Please provide all the data required on the form to avoid any prescription errors which can be dangerous.
- Telephone requests for repeat prescriptions are not accepted as they can sometimes result in serious errors.
- Please do not ask us for holiday prescription for more than 2 months.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
