Slough Carers Support
Slough Gateway Carers Support, provided by Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East offers a range of free information, advice, advocacy and support groups for all unpaid informal carers age 18+ living in Slough.
A carer is someone who provides help and support without payment, to a partner, relative, friend or neighbour who could not manage without their help.
Our service for carers is part of a wider partnership of many voluntary and community organisations known as the Gateway, offering support across all care groups for residents and their carers.
Support is provided through knowledgeable and experienced workers providing quality information on benefits and other entitlements, emotional support and confidential advice, a drop in service, events and forums and support groups. We work closely with our partners to ensure that anyone who cares for a loved one gets the support that will help them in their caring role.
